File Form I-526E

Obtain a Conditional Green Card

After the I-526E is approved, the investor applies for a conditional green card. If already in the U.S., they file Form I-485 for adjustment of status. If outside the U.S., they complete consular processing to obtain an immigrant visa.

Remove Conditions with Form I-829

To transition from conditional to permanent residency, the investor must file Form I-829 within 90 days before the expiration of the conditional green card. This petition demonstrates that the investment was maintained and the required jobs were created.
